We’re delighted to announce that due to popular demand we now offer cupcake decorating workshops. In each class you will receive four vanilla and four chocolate cupcakes. Six of these delicious little treats can be taken home in a presentation gift box. The extra two can be used for practise (and nibbling on throughout the class!)
What you will learn:
- We’ll teach you how to make our yummy buttercream frosting and a variety of ways of piping onto your cupcake to achieve different effects.
- Learn how to use fondant to cover your cupcakes for a smooth, elegant finish.
- Use tools to emboss your cakes for decorative effect.
- Learn how to use tools, cutters and moulds to create beautiful and edible flowers and decorations.
- You will also receive recipe cards so you can bake your own cupcakes at home. There’s probably no nicer a way to spend a lazy Sunday than nibbling on cakes, making sugar decorations and no doubt getting icing sugar in your hair – we would love to see you there!

This is a giant cupcake with a handpainted leopard print base. Other animal prints available. Rar!

Actually it was only about fifty, but that doesn’t have the same ring to it. These were laid out as little favours for all the wedding guests – vintage china was supplied by the bride.

Sparkly winter wedding themed cupcake tower we made for the recent Glasgow Girls Wedding Show. My absolute favourite thing about this is the beaded trim we put on the cake stand – even without the cakes, the stand still looks great! It would look brilliant with twinkly fairy lights too.

Two tiered cake for an Easter Christening. Our customer liked our two tiered dotty cake, but customised the design to suit her Easter theme – springtime colours, a bunny instead of a teddy and the little mini egg decor. We made lots of little Easter cupcakes to match too.

Fun 21st birthday cake decorated with sugar sparkles, sweeties and a model of the birthday girl on top!

Originally a design for a top tier for a cupcake tower with each cupcake decorated with little cherry blossoms as well. This cake would look good as a single tier as much as it would with four tiers!

A really adaptable cake design for almost all occasions. This one was for a 60th birthday celebration at Mitchell’s Restaurant in Carmunnock.

Classic four tiered cake, with a bit of added sparkle from the addition of crystal decor and brooch. Easily adaptable to any colour scheme, this cake would look stunning twinkling in the sunlight on your wedding day.
(This cake made its way to Perth courtesy of the groom, so unfortunately I didn’t get a photo of it at the venue. This photo was taken in our blue and white kitchen, as you can see!)

A pretty springtime design we made for the recent Glasgow Girls Wedding Fayre. I like the pale blue as it’s a bit unusual and blue seems to be a popular colour for wedding themes at the moment. A pale yellow, green or pink would look lovely too or ivory with coloured daisies would be cute. So many options!

Four tier vanilla cake, wrapped in ivory or white chocolate fondant and decorated with fresh summer fruits. Equally as pretty with milk chocolate wrap.
As shown in sponge serves approximately 90 guests
